ROCKWOOL MATTRESSES

Rockwool Mattress is a precisely engineered bonded fibrous insulation that offers maximum resistance to the passage of heat. Rockwool Fibers are spun from selected rocks, melted at 1600°C and blended to a carefully adjusted chemical composition.
These felted slabs use state-of-the-art technology for optimal density and resilience. Fibers have a diameter of 1/20th that of human hair.
Rockwool Mattress consists of fine fibers spun from selected rocks and bonded with a thermosetting resin. They are felted in a predefined pattern and baked to form mattresses with uniform fiber distribution and predetermined thickness and density.
Application and Characteristics
Rockwool Mattresses are used for both hot and cold insulation to conserve energy, maintain process temperature, prevent condensation, and reduce noise. They are ideal for:
- Pipes, tanks, equipment, boilers
- Electrostatic precipitators, flues, and ducts
- Ovens, furnaces, kilns, and fire doors

Rockwool Mattress has excellent stability and no chicken feathering, which keeps the atmosphere clean during application. Its controlled thickness and density ensure predictable heat losses.
